We’re going to the XXIV IFSO World Congress

Standard Bariatrics will be in Miami, FL, next week at the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO).

Meet us at Booth #605 to learn how the technology behind the Titan SGS® stapler may help users achieve more consistent and symmetrical sleeve pouch anatomy, setting up their patients up for the best possible outcomes.

Titan SGS is the only stapler indicated by the FDA to complete gastric sleeve pouch anatomy in one 55-second firing cycle. The Titan SGS also has the longest continuous staple cutline—a 23cm staple line with no overlapping staples.

We’re proud to be a 2022 IFSO World Congress sponsor and look forward to meeting you. Safe travels to Miami.

Dr. Richards completes more than 20 cases using Titan SGS®

Standard Bariatrics welcomes Alabama-based bariatric surgeon William O. Richards, MD, FACS, Professor and Chair University of South Alabama College of Medicine, Department of Surgery, and Immediate Past President of Southeastern Surgical Congress, to the community of Titan SGS® users. He has completed over 20 gastric sleeve cases using Titan SGS.

“The Titan stapler is a fundamental and substantial improvement for patients undergoing laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. The surgeon is able to create one single staple line that creates a more symmetric sleeve, with better compression, which reduces bleeding along the staple line, reduces leaks, and improves postoperative outcomes,” he said.
