Bariatric surgeon Courtney Doyle, MD recently used the Titan SGS® for the first time. Dr. Doyle works at the Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) Weight Loss and Metabolic Surgery Program in Annapolis, MD. She is interested in emerging bariatric techniques and technologies. After observing AAMC Director Alejandro Gandsas, MD, using the Titan SGS in bariatric surgery, she requested training. She liked how the Titan SGS offers surgeons performing sleeve gastrectomy the ability to complete a sleeve pouch anatomy in a single firing.1
Dr. Doyle is a board-certified, fellowship-trained laparoscopic general and bariatric surgeon who performs several hundred bariatric surgeries annually. She is an active member of the American Society for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery (ASMBS), the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgery (SAGES), the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS), and the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
