23CM DEVICE JAW
The industry’s longest continuous 23cm staple line1,2 is designed to eliminate issues created by overlapping staple lines3 or malformed staples.6,7 Gastric tissue can be positioned along the entire length of the jaws, which clamp and fire distal to proximal. During clamping, the device monitors the tissue load to ensure appropriate stapling parameters. The jaws are designed to reduce the risk of malformed staples.6,7

Longitudinal graduated stapling technology is designed to provide a more hemostatic staple line.1 Six rows of staples, each successive vertical row being longer, match the entire length of the staple line more closely with the thickness of the patient's native anatomy.6

Opens and closes the jaws in closure mode. In firing mode, the down trigger begins the firing sequence that is approximately 1 minute.1
FIRING SAFETY BUTTON
Safety buttons on both sides of the handle activate the firing system when the device is in closure system mode. Prior to entering firing mode, suboptimal firing conditions can be assessed.
PROXIMAL HINGE
Works with the distal hinge to ensure cartridge-to-anvil alignment to reduce malformed staples during firing. 1,6,8*
